Spitfish is a de-esser plugin, built for mono and stereo vocal tracks. The plugin filters out harsh and irritating s-like sounds and assures tracks are free from any unwanted hisses.
It offers features such as a stereo switch, a ‘Listen’ function to identify frequencies being removed, and dynamic filters.
The controls consist of sensitivity, tune, and depth, and include a soft mode to reduce aggressiveness and provide a softer sound.

- Soft – Smooth out the reduction of the “s” sounds to make it gentler.
- Depth – Determines how strongly the plugin reduces the “s” sounds.
- Bypass – Turns off the effect so you can hear the original sound without changes.
- Stereo – Makes sure that both the left and right sides of the audio are treated the same way.
