The Rolend PG-238 is an emulator plugin inspired by the Roland Jx-8p / Jx-3p / Alpha Juno models for creating unique synth sounds. It allows you to control features such as Polyphony, Bend Range, and Vibrato.
It also offers features like adjusting the pulse width modulation and setting different steps in the Step LFO.

Plugin Interface:
- Polyphony – Sets how many notes can be played at the same time.
- DCO-1 and DCO-2 – Controls the sound waves for each Digital Controlled Oscillator. They have Range, Tune, Waveform, and Fine Tune settings to change how the sound is shaped.
- PWM and Sub – PWM changes the pulse width of the waveform, and Sub adds a lower octave sound for a fuller effect.
- LFOs – These knobs adjust Low-Frequency Oscillators, which create wobbly effects for the sound. You can choose different waveforms and rates.
- Mixer – Combines different sound sources like DCO-1, DCO-2, Sub, and Noise to create richer sounds.
- VCF – These controls change the sound frequency with HPF (High-Pass Filter) and LPF (Low-Pass Filter) to make the sound brighter or darker.
- Envelopes – Adjusts the ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) settings, which shape how the sound starts, holds, and fades away.
- VCA – Controls the volume (Level) of the sound signal and lets you choose which Envelope affects it.
- Chorus – Adds a richer, fuller effect to the sound by duplicating it with slight variations. Adjust Rate and Depth for different effects.
- Step LFO – Creates a rhythmic pattern with steps you can adjust, making the sound wobble in fun ways.
