Lisp is a free sibilance processor VST plugin for Windows created by Sleepy-Time DSP. The plugin detects sibilance quickly to reduce unwanted sounds, adjust sensitivity, and manage frequencies.

Lisp is a plugin for managing sibilance, it is helpful for music producers looking to decrease sibilance problems in their vocals. The automatic sibilance detection algorithm actively manages “ss”, “teh”, and “ch” sounds in real-time. Lisp uses an improved version of the Sleepy-Time Records transient detection algorithm. Lisp ensures the removal of unwanted sibilance, independent of input level. The result is a natural vocal sound with “s” sounds removed.

Plugin Interface:
- Reduction – This knob controls how much of the unwanted sound or noise is reduced in the audio.
- Attack – This dial sets how quickly the plugin starts working after the sound comes in.
- Release – This dial sets how quickly the plugin stops working after the sound goes away.
- Stereo Mode – These buttons let you choose how the sound is processed in different parts like Left/Right or Mid/Side.
- Listen Button – This lets you hear exactly the part of the audio that is being changed or processed.
- dBVU Meter – Shows how loud the sound is and helps you keep track of the volume.
- Sensitivity – This control adjusts how easily the plugin detects the sounds you want to reduce.
- Sibilant Range (Low/High) – Sets the range of frequencies, in kilohertz (kHz), where the plugin will work the most.
- Processing Mode – This switch lets you choose between manual or automatic processing of the audio.
- Q – Adjusts how wide or narrow the frequency range is that the plugin affects.
- Hz Smooth – This control makes the sound changes smoother to avoid sudden jumps in audio processing.
- Power Button – Turns the plugin on or off.
