Iowa Alto Flute is a plugin that uses a sampled alto flute from the University of Iowa Electronic Music Studios. It was designed by Bigcat Instruments for Windows and Mac. The plugin offers controls for panning, attack, decay, sustain, and release.

Plugin Interface:

  • Vol – Controls how loud or quiet the sound is.
  • Pan – Moves the sound to the left or right speaker.
  • Attack – Controls the time it takes for the sound to reach its maximum level after being played.
  • Decay – Controls how quickly the sound goes down to the sustain level after the attack phase.
  • Sus – Stands for Sustain, and it controls the level of the sound while you hold the note.
  • Rel – Stands for Release, and it controls how long the sound lasts after you let go of the note.
  • Keyboard – Shows which notes you can play and lets you play them.
