Hand Crash is a collection of 5 orchestral cymbals sourced from the University of Iowa Electronic Music Studio. It includes controls to customize the dynamic range, volume, and release time of each cymbal. The “Pan” and “Velocity Layers” functions allow for a change in the sound’s position and intensity.

Plugin Interface:

  • Release (Rel) – Controls how long the sound lasts after you hit a cymbal.
  • Pan – Moves the cymbal sounds to the left or right speaker.
  • Velocity Layers – Changes how hard or soft you hit the cymbals to make different sounds: soft or hard strokes.
  • Cymbal Selection – This lets you pick different cymbals, such as 15” Milano or 18” Berlin, to play with.
