I’ve got an AKAI Mpk 49 and a Korg Microkorg , they’re both dope , but for a different use.
The MPK is a great MIDI Master Keyboard and i guess there’s no need to compliment the f**kin Microkorg
vmk 188 plus. jus mainly becuz it has a roland style modulation wheel. jus wish it had 2 instead of it being a combo (mod/pitch)
I have always been a fan of the Korg Triton series. But I do not have 1 favorite keyboard over any other. I like the Roland JP 80, The Motif series, The Ensoniq ASR10/EPS series, The Ensoniq ESQ-1 and all sorts of boards.
Still rocking with the Yamaha Motif (usually the Classic, but I like the whole line)…
Don’t have the luxury of hardware yet..lol Axiom 61 best midi in my opinion.
Axiom 25 midi pro. You can sync with pro tools and it have 3 octive ranges, drum pads with 3 banks.
I’m using a midi keyboard, the Novation 25SL MKII. I upgraded from the Axiom 25 because of the automap controls of the Novation. The keys are semi- weighted and they have a better feel to me.
I use a roland fantom x6 , but would love to get my hands on that motif xf
I don’t actually use a keyboard. Just a Studio Logic 88-key controller with aMotif Rack mount. I like the rack mounts because each keyboard has a different sound but racking up on ’em is very space consuming.
Acorn Masterkey 61 – modulation’n’pitchband, 1 fader, 4 knobs, all (midi) assignable, octave shift -3 to +3, velocity sensitive, all that for a little less than 100$. With combination of NanoKontrol2, can’t be better. Yet affordable.
