Site Feedback Please!

Hey everyone, Hip Hop Makers launched February 11th and I have gotten alot of positive feedback.

I have posted some of my links and articles in various music forums, and in those forums people are liking the content.

I’m averaging about 300 visitors a day, but people aren’t really posting comments on this site. I would like your feedback on what you would like to see more of on this site. What will make you want to you participate in this blog, and how to get you to start discussions and leaving comments.

So, please post your thoughts below of what you would like to see on this site. What you want to see improved. What you want more of! Is it Music Tutorials? Design Tutorials? Interviews? Samples? What? Help me out!!!!!

  1. I love your site. I just stumbled upon it the other day. I have subscribed to RSS and Linked you on my own blog. I have been having the same problem. Mine officially stared Feb. 24th Anyway, I hope by linking you the somewhat small amount of readers I have now will give you some comments.

Congrats on the great looking site!

  2. I like the interviews with eyetele, that cat is really kewl……waiting for part#3.

You should hook it up were people could put up there own page with there music….

And have some banners so people can post them to there sites.

  3. Hey Dwayne, I’m glad you liked Eyetel interviews. I wont have a part 3 to those videos, but you will see him on the site real soon. We have shot half of his music video, and a tutorial on shooting a low budget video will be on the site in the upcoming weeks.

I’m working on some banners now, and the music pages I’ll do some research and see what I can come up with.

    Thanks for the comments

  4. This site is very good so far. May I suggest some tutorials on the different styles of beatmaking (east coast, west coast, dirty south, j-dilla type beats, primo type beats, dre type beats) and some remakes of sum popular or underground beats.

  5. I agree with Blaze. Tutorials of any kind would be great, especially on on sampling records. So far on my tracks I’ve used downloaded drum samples and misc Reason instruments. They always feel like they are missing something though. The beat is great but when its an instrument instead of a sample it just doesn’t sound right.

  6. Yo, Much luv,

    ONCE AGAIN,

    MUCH LUV FAM’

  7. Much love! I want to thank you for checkin’ out my site and leaving that comment. That meant a lot. I’ll continue to stay up to date with yours. Hope it goes well.

It seems like that mention on Remix’s blog did you a lot of good.

  8. the site is dope and will really be helpful to up and coming producers especially with you giving out free drums and production tips. keep up the good work.

  9. Yo…Whats up?
Not sure how I stumbled on to your site either, but I have it book marked.
As an up and coming producer, I can see a lot of value in Video Tutorials that show the use of some of FL Studios powerful FPC and Piano Roll functions.
What I have been trying to find is a good tutorial on how to Rewire reson with FL Studio to get around the mono output from Reason in the FL Mixer.
Using 3 mixer channels for one Reason Track in FL, is way too many. Theres got to be a better way.
Overall, VERY good site and well organized. I will be with you for the long haul watching it grow…keep up the good work.
Oh, A forum would also be a good add for the site.
    Peace
