General Questions

 

What do I get when I buy a business card design?

You get the following: Help File, Link to download the free font, Photoshop File and Image previews of all the color schemes that are provided with the design

After I pay, when will I get the Photoshop file?

You will get a email instantly with a user name and password for you to download the design.

How long are my downloads available?

As long as you want. You are able to download the file up too 7 times. So after you download once, you can log in a month later, and download that file again. Please note IP addresses are tracked, and downloads may decrease if unusual activity occurs.

Who should I print my cards with?

I personally use a website call NextDayFlyers.com . They have some good prices. Business Cards start at 100 cards for $9. Plus specs of the template you buy from our store, is built following their requirements.

 

Purchasing Questions

 

Do you offer refunds?

No, once the file is downloaded, there is no way to retrieve it, so all sales are final. Sorry.

Do you except anything else besides Paypal?

Why does it ask for my shipping address when I ordered digital products?

Digital products will NOT be shipped to you. It is default functionality in the shopping cart to ask for a shipping address.

 

Technical Questions

 

What Version of Photoshop do I need?

I believe it will work with all versions of Photoshop CS.

Are your products for use on a Mac or PC?

The files will work on both Mac & PC. You just need Photoshop, and need to download the fonts used in the design.

How good do I have to be with Photoshop to use your file?

If you already have Photoshop, and know how to add text, transform a image/box, and move items, Then you should be ok. But you have to understanding of how the program works. Do you supply the fonts in the download?

No. I didn’t make the fonts, so I can’t give them out, but I supply you with the online location to where you can download the font for free.

How do I install the font I downloaded into my computer?

 

I do not have a program to unzip .ZIP files. What do I do?

What software do I need to edit your designs?

Photoshop. Any version of CS.

I don’t have Photoshop, but I want to use your design, what can I do?

Do you offer an Affiliate program?

No, not at the moment. But I plan on doing something real soon.

Can I sell these designs?

No, they are for your use only. Please keep them to yourself. All the money made from them is being reinvested into our website to add new features. Everything that is added to the site comes directly out of my pocket. So please support the site, and keep the designs to yourself.

Technical Terms

 

What is CMYK ?

CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. These are the four ink colors used in the the printing process to create color prints.

What is DPI?

DPI stands for dots per inch. The more dots per square inch the better the quality of image and text.  For best output, please submit your files at 300 dpi.

What is bleed?

Printers cannot print right to the edge of a sheet of paper. To create that effect, the printer must use a sheet which is larger than the document size. The printer prints beyond the edge of the document size (1/16 inch which is 0.0625 inch), then cuts the paper down to the document size. No text should go beyond the recommended safety, or it may be cut off while the printed piece is being cut to size.

Most jobs we print require a 1/16” bleed over each edge. If your job requires die-cutting or is a booklet, a 1/8” bleed is required.
