You can use it live as the ultimate synth module, for playing back backing tracks or samples, you can use it to produce tracks, record full songs, mix and master them as well. Any software involving music for windows will run on this. Even Pro Tools (with a connected USB or Firewire interface). I don't even own one yet. Until I do, I'll be a DBeat evangelist!! Even though the down side to these products is that any all in one device is risky, I've always wanted a Neko without a keyboard. The DBeat does seem geared towards DJs, but rest assured it is a full studio. It definitely gets my vote! I’ve been watching Open Labs for a long time. With everything together in one box, if one thing breaks your whole setup is gone.
