I can agree with him on some points. But at the same time, it would be inevitable for the music to not remain that way. Technology has put the tools into the hands of aspiring artist and producers, therefore, there’s evolution involved. Nothing stays the same. Has Kobe or Lebron going pro out of high school hurt the NBA game? It’s all objective. I think the access and excess of tools to create music has contributed to a broader music production market. There’s no longer an exclusive “club/camp” that dominates the industry. We function in an open market. But I respect his point of view.
