in response to Justin Boland: be careful before you jump out and accuse somebody of something. J. Jones, aka Jermaine Jones, aka J Skrilla is an artist I have produced for years that has branched out and created his own entity. www.myspace.com/reeltorealent is his myspace and www.soundclick.com/cinemacksrecords is where he is still promoting the album that I executive produced for him. I'm not 100% sure, but last I checked he still had www.cinemacksrecords.com up and running. He is part of Black Ink Poets and has been tearing through the underground scene here for years. He runs Cinemacks Recording Studio on south 6th street in Paducah, KY, and helped promote the biggest spoken word program even in our state at the Market House Theater here in Paducah, KY. He wrote the article to submit to the website, and offered it free of charge. The owner of the site liked the article and approved it. I am not sure why you would bark out accusations to try and slander my character here, but at least get your facts right before doing so. As a matter of fact, go tell everybody you know about it... make sure you are overtly slanderous so you know they will come see what would get you so upset... it'll be fun to see.

This isn't an article, it's an advertisement. You're not even a good copywriter -- if you're gonna promote with fake news articles, at least pay attention to grammar and shit when you're doing your...man, why do I bother.

Great article! I'd just like to say thanks to Mr. Jones for supporting AlpyneProductions.com this way as well! Thats a huge compliment coming from someone thats been in the game as long as he has. I remember Executive Producing his first solo album, "My Life Is A Motion Picture... The Making of J Skrilla" (which I'm pretty sure is still available online at www.soundclick.com/cinemacksrecords if I'm not mistaken). Everything he is saying here is true. The online market is wide open, and many, many independent artists are NOT clocking in to 9-5's because of online promotional success. Its a beautiful thing to watch.
