Hey everyone, I just wanted to open up a discussion about possibly having a beat battle in Los Angeles. I’m looking for more ways of getting up and coming music producers together.
9% of Hip Hop Makers visitors are in California, and I wanted to know if I set something up, would you want to come?
Stuff I have in mind for a event:
- Beat battle with 10 contestants
- Sample flip contest with possibly 4 contestants
- 2 Speakers giving speeches on music industry insight and tips
- And a live DJ playing
I would like this event to be more then just a battle. I want producers to network and share tips for us all to learn.
Thoughts? Suggestions? What would make this better?

I’m in the process of planning a beat battle on May 27th at Monsoon in Santa Monica and would very much be interested in collaborating on this event with anyone that’s interested. Yea I went to a project blow event. I thought it was cool. Just a lot of music lovers. Which was great.
