i prefer software its just simple and easier to get nice plugins that emulate older gear. Great Vid

Well can’t you just use a drum pad like the AkaiMPD16 to emulate the “MP” style drums into Reason? I think you can do as much with software..if not more…than hardware….just get the right samples.

my opinion to me its that no one can judge software or hardware because its what the producer feel comfortable working with but i prefer software because of how fast you can look for sounds and come up with drum patterns in minutes
